Staff

Dennis Utley,
Senior Draftsman

Dennis graduated from Murray State University with a Bachelor of Science in Industrial Technology. With 11 years experience, he has been with RDA for six years, long enough to establish himself as the firm’s key production person. Once plans are drafted, he works effectively with engineers, venders and consultants to ensure up-to-the-minute information is constantly flowing to all parties participating in each project.

Jade Bennett,

Interior Designer

Jade graduated from Mississippi University for Women with a Bachelor of Fine Arts in Interior Design. Joining the firm a year ago, Jade was drawn to the field by the relationship between psychology and environment. The challenge of creating interior spaces that positively impact occupants while taking into consideration budget and functionality constraints keeps Jade passionate about her work.

Julia Robinson,

Office Manager

Julia graduated from Vanderbilt University with a Bachelor of Arts in Art History. A recent addition to the RDA staff, while she is new to architecture, her 25 years of experience in a variety of marketing related fields leave her well equipped to manage the administrative tasks that come with every project. From organizing the specifications for a project to monitoring project costs to ensure correct billing, she helps keep the entire team on track.

Ed George,

Architect

Ed graduated from the University of Tennessee, Knoxville with a Bachelor of Architecture. A registered architect, Ed brings a great background of professional work to the firm.

Emily Dover,

Intern Architect

Emily graduated from the University of Tennessee, Knoxville with a Bachelor of Arts in Psychology followed by a Masters of Architecture in 2011. The apple didn't fall far from the tree with Emily; she began drawing floor plans and elevations in elementary school, and quickly came to understand why standing in front of buildings in photographs is important for scale. She is excited to begin logging hours for the Intern Development Program and studying for the AREs, as well as gaining great experience in her first year as an Intern at RDA.
